User Agreement

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This agreement is a contract between you and PlayCorridor (playcorridor.com). By creating an account, playing as a guest, or otherwise using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

1. Who may use Corridor

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where a higher digital-consent age applies, you must be at least 16, or have verifiable permission from a parent or legal guardian. In South Korea and other jurisdictions with specific minimums, the local minimum applies.

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn that an underage account exists, we delete it and its personal data.

You are responsible for complying with the laws of the country you are connecting from. Some countries restrict access to online services; if access is unlawful where you live, you may not use Corridor.

2. Your account

You may hold one personal account. Keep your credentials confidential: you are responsible for activity carried out with your login, unless it results from a security failure on our side.

Usernames must be unique and must not impersonate another person, contain slurs or hate speech, promote illegal activity, or infringe someone else's trademark. We may rename or reclaim usernames that break these rules.

You may sign in with an email and password or with Google. We do not sell accounts and account transfers are not permitted.

3. Acceptable use

Play fairly: do not use engines, bots, external assistance, shared accounts, sandbagging, rating manipulation, or deliberate disconnection to affect results. Full detail is in our Cheating & Fair Play policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Do not harass, threaten, dox, spam or discriminate against other players; do not upload unlawful, sexual, violent or infringing images as avatars; do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.

We may suspend, restrict, reset ratings on, or permanently close accounts that break these rules. Serious cases (threats, CSAM, fraud) are reported to the competent authorities.

4. Free service, no gambling

Corridor is free to play. There is no wagering, no real-money prize pool, no loot boxes and no purchasable competitive advantage. Nothing on the site constitutes gambling or a game of chance under EU, UK, US or comparable gaming legislation.

Ratings, badges and puzzle progress have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be recalculated or reset for integrity reasons.

5. Your content and our content

You keep ownership of what you upload (for example, your avatar). By uploading it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, resize and display it for the purpose of operating the service. You warrant that you have the rights to the content you upload.

Games you play generate move records. We may display, store and analyse those records - including in public broadcast, review and anti-cheat features.

The site software, artwork, mascots and text are ours or our licensors' and are protected by copyright. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission. Corridor is an independent implementation of a public-domain style abstract strategy game; we claim no rights in, and are not affiliated with, any third-party board game brand.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted play, and games may be lost during maintenance or outages.

We may change features, rules, rating formulas or these terms. Material changes are announced on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use Corridor after that date means you accept the updated terms.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page; this removes your personal data as described in the Privacy notice, while anonymised game records may be retained for integrity and statistics.

We may terminate or suspend access for breach of this agreement, for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the service.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost ratings arising from your use of a free service.

Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law - including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or, for consumers in the EU/UK, your mandatory statutory rights. If you are a consumer, these terms do not deprive you of the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence.

9. Governing law and disputes

Where local law permits, this agreement is governed by the law of our place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

We aim to resolve complaints informally: write to support@playcorridor.com first. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, and consumers everywhere retain the right to bring a claim before their local courts.
